In addition to the head coach, media representatives were also addressed by the FF BH vice-president, Milorad Sofrenić, and the general secretary, Adnan Džemidžić.

Head coach Ivaylo Petev said, among other things:

“It is a great honour, but also a great responsibility for me that I was elected the head coach of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I believe in myself and I will do everything to make a good result. B&H has very good players and I believe that the results we all want will come. The spirit is important and we will try to get the most out of the players. The group is tough and we will do our best to achieve success. We have a common goal and we must all work as one.”

Sofrenić stated:

“I congratulate the new head coach and wish a success to him, us and our national team, and that we achieve the desired result in the qualifications, and that is the qualification for the World Cup. Today, we also had a session of the Executive Board, where we stayed with the agreement that the technical staff of the “A” national team consists of BH coaches. In the next period, the head coach will communicate with potential candidates, in order to assess which coaches will be involved in his technical staff.”

Adnan Džemidžić thanked the media for following the work of the Federation and expressed hope that we would all rejoice together in the good results of the BH national team.
