One of the players who arrived in Finland yesterday, Eldar Čivić, is ready to meet the first match in the qualifications for the 2022 FIFA World Cup:

“We have very little time ahead of us and we will do only two training sessions until the first qualifying match. It is certainly not enough for quality preparation, but we work in clubs, the season is in full swing and we are ready. As for me, I am in good shape, I am ready to give my best, as I always do when I play in the national team jersey.”

Čivić says about the national team of Finland:

“We know the opponent well, because we played against them in the last qualifications. We are familiar with their qualities and that is a good team. I believe that we can impose our rhythm in the match with Finland and I hope for a good result.”

Apart from Ćivić, Pirić, Todorović, Cimirot and Mihojević arrived in Helsinki yesterday, while the arrival of other national team players is expected today.
