The questions of the journalists were answered by the head coach Robert Prosinečki and the team captain Edin Džeko.

Prosinečki said that our selection will not calculate tomorrow:

“We do not think to play for a point, but we have to play one good match. Players are motivated and want to present themselves in the right way, especially because we will have a great support from the stands. When going to a point, it is mostly lost. Austria is a good team, but we want to stay first in the group.”

The head coach expects a tough match:

“They play home and will do their best, because only a victory keeps them in the game for the first place. They will surely try to dominate and score a goal as soon as possible. We played with an excellent tactics in Zenica, and we will also try to dominate in the midfield tomorrow. Probably, we expect a tough match again, like that one in Zenica.”

Robert Prosinečki says on the health situation:

“All players who came to Austria are ready. We had some minor problems, but now everything is fine and everyone is healthy. They are available for tomorrow’s match.”

After announcement from the Austrian team that they would pay special attention to Edin Džeko, our captain said:

“As far as I’m concerned, they can pay a special attention to me, but the others will score goals. I would not mind. Only victory suits them and they will surely play offensively. We have quality, we believe in ourselves, and I hope that we will achieve the result that will leave us first in the group in the Nations League.”
