The head coach Ivaylo Petev and the goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić answered the questions of the journalists.

When asked in which formation the team will play, the head coach Petev said:

“You will see tomorrow how we will play; I would not talk about it now. I want us to play a good match, to be responsible and to win. Since we have a lot of new players on the list, we will test them all. However, it is important that we maintain our game system and make progress.”

Media representatives were interested in how hard this term is for players at the end of the season.

“As it is for us, so it is for Montenegrins. It is important that we find motivation and do our best. If we succeed in that, the result will not be missed. They are a good team and it will not be easy. Our approach is important tomorrow, so that the players support each other on the pitch and then there will be no problems”, says Petev.

Ibrahim Šehić hopes that the team will win:

“We haven’t won in a long time and we talked about it a lot. We want to finally win and these two matches are a good opportunity for that. Positive results are also important for the self-confidence we will definitely need in the qualifiers.”

The experienced goalkeeper does not divide matches into official and friendly:

“We players look at every match in the same way, especially when we play for the national team. It is nice when we play against the surrounding countries, because we know each other well. It is even more important that we all pass without injuries and show good football. Montenegro will be an easier opponent than Denmark because, they are preparing for the European Championship and we will be their last check. It is difficult to compare those two matches and we will certainly have to have a different plan for Denmark compared to Montenegro.”
