Young line-up of Dragons defeated in Denmark

The friendly match between the “A” national teams of Denmark and Bosnia and Herzegovina was played today at the Brondby Stadium, which ended with the victory of the home team of 2:0.

After a long time, our national team played the match for the national team in front of the audience, so 8,000 fans at this Danish stadium created a real football atmosphere, and there was no lack of support for the Dragons from the stands.

Today, the head coach Ivaylo Petev fielded a young team, which was led by Siniša Saničanin for the first time as captain. At the age of 26, this national team member was the oldest BH player in the starting line-up.

Debutants for the national team were also recorded by players from the BiH Premier League, Andrej Đokanović and Ajdin Nukić.

In the first 45 minutes, one goal was seen for the home team in the 18th minute. Martin Braithwaite managed best in the crowd in the penalty area of the BiH national team, who sent the ball behind the back of Nikola Vasilj.

The Danes scored the second goal in the 73rd minute, when after a corner from the right, the highest in the jump was Andreas Cornelius, who accurately headed for 2:0.

By the end of the match, Smail Prevljak and Ajdin Nukić had good opportunities for the Dragons, but they were not precise.
