Tonight’s ceremony was attended by the players and the technical staff of the BH “A” national team that gathered today for the friendly matches with Montenegro and South Korea.

The best player of the BH Telecom Premier League of BH for the 2017/18 season is the striker of Željezničar, Goran Zakarić. The coaches and captains of our elite football clubs’ competition gave the highest number of votes to Zakarić, who left behind two players from Zrinjski, Miloš Filipović and Nemanja Bilbija.

The FF BH President Elvedin Begić handed the award to Zakarić, and the player expressed his satisfaction with this recognition:

“I would like to thank everyone who voted for me. I had a good season and I can be satisfied with my games. As a reward came the invitation to the national team and this evening’s recognition. I am happy and this is certainly an incentive to continue my career.”

Goran Zakarić is the fourth player to win this award, and before him, awards for the best footballer of the BH championships were given to Wagner Santos Lago, Zajko Zeba and Miroslav Stevanović.

The best goalkeeper of the Premier League is, as in the previous season, Kenan Pirić from Zrinjski. The closest competitors to Pirić were Vedran Kjosevski (Željezničar) and Bojan Pavlović (Sarajevo).

Pirić received the award by the goalkeeper coach of the “A” national team, Kenan Hasagić.

The best goal scorer in this season is Miloš Filipović from Zrinjski who sent 16 balls into the opponents’ nets, and Edin Džeko handed him the award.

The best coach award went to Blaž Slišković from Zrinjski.

The BH Telecom representative, Dujko Hasić, handed the fair-play award to FK Krupa.

The award for contributing to the promotion of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was given to Wagner Santos Lago, a long-time player of Široki Brijeg, and the award was handed to him by Miralem Pjanić.

The FF BH general secretary, Jasmin Baković, handed to the RFA East Sarajevo the award for the best amateur selected team.

The best player of the Women’s Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina this year is Valentina Šakotić from Radnik Bumerang, while the best goalkeeper award, for the third time, went to Almina Hodžić from SFK 2000 Sarajevo.

Šakotić won in the competition against Alisa Spahić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo) and Nikolina Vujadin (Lokomotiva Brčko), while Hodžić left behind her club fellow Envera Hasanbegović and Aida Avdić from Gradina.

The awards to the best female players were given by the national team’s players, Ognjen Vranješ and Vedran Kjosevski.

The best player of the BH Premier Futsal League is Marijo Aladžić, a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's champion, Mostar SG Staklorad, and the award for the best futsal goalkeeper ended in the hands of his club and the BH futsal team colleague, Stanislav Galić.

The FF BH vice-presidents, Milorad Sofrenić and Ivan Beus, handed them these awards.

Vladan Vesić (Mostar SG Staklorad) and Anel Radmilović (Center), as well as goalkeepers Bahrudin Omerbegović (Centar) and Adnan Delihasanović (Tango) were in the tight competition for the best futsal player.

The best player of the BH Premier U-19 League is Ševkija Resić (Sarajevo) who won in a competition Semir Dačić from Željezničar and Nermin Hajdarević from Zrinjski. The best goalkeeper of this competition is Jasmin Kršić from Željezničar, who received the award ahead of his club fellow Filip Dujmović and Vojin Savić from Zrinjski. Ibrahim Šehić and Muhamed Bešić handed them these awards.
