WU-19 Loses Against Romania

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s women’s national under-19 football team lost 1:2 to Romania today in Ugljevik in Round 2 of Group B3 in the first stage of Euro 2026 qualifiers.

Alexia Niculescu gave Romania the lead in 34'. In 85', Una Rankić sent a great ball from midfield to the right side of the box, where Ana Jurić finished well to level the score. However, just two minutes later, Maria Isabel Olah restored Romania’s lead and sealed the final result.

BiH lineup: Nadija Golubović, Irina Erkić, Dragana Dimitrić, Marija Maslać, Bogdana Milićević, Natalija Mirković, Amila Abdukić (80' Uma Hadžihajdarević), Ana Jurić, Una Rankić, Zerina Marković, Velida Aličković

In the other group match, Ukraine defeated San Marino 5:0 in Stanišići. After two rounds, Romania and Ukraine each have 6 points, while Bosnia and Herzegovina and San Marino remain without points.

Round 3 is scheduled for December 2 at 13:00. BiH will face San Marino in Stanišići, while Ukraine and Romania will meet in Ugljevik.
