The under-11 tournament was played on Saturday, with 12 teams competing for the trophy: Emina-Mali Most, Borac, ŠF Sportivo, Radnik, Spartak 2013, Budućnost, SFK 2000 Sarajevo, ŠN Tiki Taka, Krivaja, Sloboda 2024, Posavina, and Pčelice.
First place went to SFK 2000 Sarajevo, who beat Emina-Mali Most 2:1 on penalties in the final. In the third-place match, Borac defeated Sloboda 1:0. Vita Vladić from Emina was named best player, Ejna Pandžić of SFK 2000 Sarajevo was top scorer, while Marina Simić from Borac was named best goalkeeper.
The under-9 tournament, which took place on February 17, featured six teams: Emina, Ljubić, Krivaja, SFK 2000 Sarajevo, Posavina, and ŠF Bubamara. In the final, Emina from Mostar defeated Krivaja 3:1, while SFK 2000 Sarajevo defeated Posavina 2:0 in the third-place match.
Ajsa Hadžić (Krivaja) was named best player of the tournament, Hadžera Sidran (Emina) was top scorer, and Farah Sokić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo) was named best goalkeeper.
Such tournaments represent an important segment of FFBiH’s strategy aimed at expanding and strengthening the foundation of women’s football in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
