Head coach Sergej Barbarez and team member Nikola Katić addressed the media.
The head coach commented on the match against Canada and looked ahead to the one against Switzerland:
"It was a new experience for most of the players, but also for us on the coaching staff, coming to a World Cup. I believe we deserved the point we won, but you can't achieve results unless everyone gives one hundred percent of their abilities. I'm very satisfied and hope we'll continue in the same way. We have to be better than the Swiss if we want to beat them. If we give our best, it'll be a good match and we're convinced we can achieve a good result. Of course, a lot also depends on the opponent and their form, but I hope we'll be the ones celebrating in the end."
One of the questions directed at Nikola Katić was about the fan support: "As for the fans, the support kept growing throughout the qualifiers as they drew to a close. From Austria to St. Louis and Toronto, we've had fantastic support. It means a lot when we know that we have a huge number of people behind us, and it's our duty to repay them on the field."
The Switzerland vs. BiH match is scheduled for June 18, 2026, at 21:00 CET, or 12:00 local time, at the Los Angeles stadium.
