Bosnia and Herzegovina's national "A" football team players completed another training session today at America First Field – RSL Stadium as part of their preparations for the FIFA World Cup Group B third-round match against Qatar.
Before training, team members Amir Hadžiahmetović and Arjan Malić were available to media representatives.
Hadžiahmetović: "We know we need three points to advance. We should've found them in these first two matches, and I think we have a good opportunity to take those three points against Qatar. As for Qatar, we'll analyze them. The good thing is that they also have to go for the win, so it won't be a closed game. We'll look for our opportunity there and use our chances. They're not an easy team either, and we'll have to be careful."
Malić: "The defeat against Switzerland hurts of course, but we have to move on. We still have a chance and that's the most important thing. We'll go into the match with a lot of energy and give everything we have to win. I hope to get my first minutes at the World Cup, but I'd be happiest if we won and get out of the group. Even if I don't get any minutes, it doesn't matter. The team is what matters, and we need to take three points and advance to the next stage of the competition."
The match against Qatar is scheduled for June 24 in Seattle at 12:00 local time (21:00 CET).
