Amar Memić said that the atmosphere was special, almost as if the team had been playing in front of a home crowd: "It was incredible, practically like playing in front of our home fans in America. I'm proud of myself, my teammates, and the whole country. A big thanks to everyone; I hope the support continues, and now we'll keep going and make history," Memić commented after the match.

Kerim Alajbegović also made an important contribution in attack, scoring the opening goal. He pointed out that the team made a strong start to the match: "I didn't think too much when I scored, the ball fell perfectly for me. It was a good goal. Then the second goal came, and after that it was easier. We dropped off a little after Qatar scored, but we found the strength to respond. We could've gone up 3:0 or 4:0 before that. We started good in the second half, and everything ended well. The fans were our 12th player. I have no words, thank you all for the incredible support, everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina and everyone at the stadium," said Alajbegović.
