Today's training session was attended by FFBiH President Vico Zeljković and members of the Federation's senior leadership, who showed their support for the players and coaching staff ahead of tomorrow's match.
Before training, Ermedin Demirović, Benjamin Tahirović, and Amar Memić talked with media representatives.
Demirović reflected on the team's success in qualifying for the World Cup: "This is truly something special, and we can't wait for the matches and the start of the World Cup. We're grateful to the fans for all the support they've given us. Not many national teams can boast support like that. We didn't come here just to see what the stadiums look like. We came here to achieve a result, and I hope we'll succeed."
Tahirović mentioned that the team is ready and also thanked the supporters who have backed our national team since the beginning of preparations. Memić pointed out the importance of the World Cup opener, stressing that the team has analyzed its opponent thoroughly. He added that no additional motivation is needed to play at the world's biggest football tournament and expressed confidence that the national team can show a level of quality greater than its current position in the FIFA rankings suggests.
The Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina match is scheduled for tomorrow at Toronto Stadium at 15:00 local time (21:00 CET).
