A press conference was held in Sarajevo today, at which the head coach of the “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivaylo Petev, announced the names of the players he was counting on for friendly matches with Georgia and Luxembourg.

The head coach Petev said, among other things:
“We are going to do a better job this year than last. I expect us to play well and responsibly in these two friendly matches. 90% of the players we count on are here. My expectations are always high. I believe we are better and more mature than we were last year and I am sure we will do a good job.”
Ivaylo Petev also commented on the injury of Miralem Pjanić:
“We talked and he is not in training for twenty days due to a leaf injury. In this regard, we agreed that he will stay at the club, work and get ready for the second part of the season.”
The national team players will gather on 21st March at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica.
