Borac Relegated to the UEFA Conference League

FK Borac and Ferencváros played the second leg of the UEFA Europa League play-offs tonight at the city stadium in Banja Luka.

Just like seven days ago in Budapest, there were no goals after regular 90 minutes of play. The BiH champions took the lead via captain Srđan Grahovac in the 104th minute. The Hungarians equalized in the 111th minute from a penalty kick by Barnabas Varga.

The match went into penalties, where the visitors handled the pressure better, winning 3:2 and securing their spot in the Europa League.

Borac’s lineup: Filip Manojlović, Marko Vukčević (85’ Zoran Kvržić), Bart Meijers, Jurich Carolina, Sebastian Herrera, Srđan Grahovac, Dino Skorup (85’ Aleks Pihler), Enver Kulašin (75’ Damir Hrelja), Stefan Savić, Nikola Srećković (64’ David Čavić), Jovo Lukić (94’ David Vuković).

The Banja Luka team will continue their European journey in the group stage of the UEFA Conference League.
