From 8th to 12th February, a seminar was held in Trebinje for referees and assistant referees of the m:tel Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was attended by FIFA’s technical instructor, who is also a mentor for the referee convention, Alan Snoddy, and FIFA fitness instructor Galvano Giuseppe.
In addition to the two lecturers at the seminar, members of the BH FF Committee for Referees and Refereeing Elmir Pilav, Robert Zrilić, Hrvoje Turudić, Adnan Alispahić, Miro Hrkač and Duško Vujičić, coordinator of the Department for Referees and Refereeing Tarik Kečo, expert associate for referees Jasenko Pljevljak, and fitness coach Nedim Čović.
Lectures were held on the following topics: “Physical Preparation and Injury Prevention”, “Teamwork”, “Handballing”, “Offside”, “Fouls and Unsporting Behaviour”, “Competition integrity”, “Handling of Officials in Crisis Situations", “Illicit Use of Hands”, “Avoiding and ‘Surviving” Refereeing Errors”.
The referees performed a fitness test, as well as tests from the Laws of the Game, and all those present successfully passed the standards before the competition continued.
Yesterday and today, seminars were held for referee observers, where numerous topics were discussed, and the work in the autumn part of the championship was analysed.
