There were not many chances in the first half. Both teams had one good try, but the guests get the advantage in the 45th minute. Khvicha Kvarastkheliaje shot from the edge of a penalty area and sent a ball into the net of Luke Kačavenda for 0:1.
The BH team equalled the score in the 57th minute. Mateo Božić performed a free kick, but the Georgian goalkeeper bounced a ball into the field. In a continuation of that action, Milan Savić worked the best in the opponents’ penalty area and scored a goal.
After the match, the head coach Slaven Musa stated:
“In this match, we noticed some things that we could be happy with, but also some with which we could not. Georgia has a good and well-coordinated team. In the first half they showed more than us. In the second part of the game, we made some changes and this brought our slightly better game. In any case, this was a good check. We saw what we missed, but also that we could count on some players who played there for the first time, first of all to Elvir Muminović who was born in 2001.”
