Audience’s support is more of a motive for us

The U-21 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina arrived today in Ried, where tomorrow they will face the qualifying match for EURO 2025 against Austria.

Young Dragons will have an official training session before tomorrow’s match at Josko Arena at 18:00 h.

Head coach Igor Janković looked back on the previous match with Slovenia and pointed out that he expects a more favourable result in Austria.

“Behind us is a match in which we did not expect to lose. In the first half, we weren’t right, we weren’t at our level. In the second period, we played better, and in the moments when we had the initiative, we made two cardinal mistakes and conceded two goals. We tried to refresh the team and prepare for the match in Austria. We are happy that tomorrow we will have great support from our fans at the stadium in Ried. That will be a big motivation for us and I hope we will show that what happened against Slovenia was just a bad day.”

The Austria-Bosnia and Herzegovina match is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 h at the Josko Arena in Ried.
