The match is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 at Bonifika stadium in Koper. Branislav Krunić’s team has earned two points so far in the qualifiers, while Slovenia has one. After a goalless draw with the Netherlands in Sarajevo, the BiH team is looking to build on that performance and go for its first win in the campaign.
Head coach Branislav Krunić expects a tough match: "This is our second match in the October cycle. In the previous game, we showed discipline in our play, but it was physically demanding and definitely took a toll on the players. In this short window between matches, we’ve focused on recovery and I hope we’ve succeeded. We’re dealing with some personnel issues and we’ll see after today’s training whether we can count on everyone, but it’s clear there’ll be changes in the lineup. This upcoming match is very important for us and we’ll give everything to keep the momentum and get a positive result."
Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold its final training session today ahead of the match with Slovenia.
