Janković commented on the lineup announcement: "First of all, I'd like to congratulate our "A" team coach, Sergej Barbarez, on his appointment. I wish him luck and hope he leads us to major competitions in the future. We're also thrilled that several players from the under-21 team have been called up to the "A" team. In agreement with our colleagues from the North Macedonian FA, we've decided to call up mostly players born in 2004 and later, since our goal is to test the boys we can count on in the future and in the next qualifiers. There will be only a small number of players born in 2003, and we've also invited some born in 2006. We want to build a team for the upcoming period, and this friendly game will serve us well in achieving this."
The players will gather on June 2nd at the Garden City Hotel in Konjic.
