Coach Vinko Marinović commented on the list: "We've called up quite a few younger players for these upcoming matches, who we’ll be able to rely on in the next qualifying round. It’s important to build a team we can count on for the long term. On the other hand, we’re facing exceptionally strong opponents, Austria and France. We can’t overlook the results, and I believe that with this squad, we’ll represent ourselves in the best way possible."
The young Dragons will host Austria’s under-21 team on September 6 at 18:00 at the Grbavica stadium, and face France on September 10 at 18:30 in Le Mans.
