Match with Malta as an opportunity for players to present themselves

The U-21 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is preparing for a friendly match with Malta in the FF BH Training Centre.

The assistant coach in the BH U-21 team, Sanjin Alagić, points out that the team is still not complete:

“We invited several new players to see how they would fit into our system of work. In principle, this is not something new, because most of them played in youth teams and they know each other from before. We are still not complete, which our work makes harder, but by the end of the day we should have all the players together. Basically, the match with Malta will serve us to give all players a chance to present themselves.”

The defender Rijad Sadiku, who passed all the BH youth teams, received the invitation for the U-21 team for the first time:

“My heart happy, because I got an invitation for the U-21 team. I did not play long for national teams for injury, but it is now a past. It was rehabilitated and I returned to 100% of my possibilities. I am full of positive charges and I am ready to prove myself in the U-21 team.”

Sadiku considers the team to be of high quality:

“I know most teammates from the past and I think this team has quality and can produce great results. The tough opponents will be waiting for us in the qualifications, but I believe in this team. We need to have the right attitude and be convinced of our own possibilities, in order to achieve the desired results. The match with Malta will serve us greatly to play and prepare for the official matches.”
