Our young team’s captain, Tarik Muharemović, wants points from the upcoming game:
"I expect us to win. We know it’s going to be a tough match, like every other so far. Unfortunately, we no longer have a chance to reach our goal, but we’ll give our best to win and secure 3 points."
This young defender plays for the national team with great passion:
"Playing for the national team is a dream and a great honor. Being the captain of this team means even more to me. Competing against other national teams provides significant experience at a professional level. For example, facing a team like France, one of our opponents in these qualifiers, is a big deal for us young footballers."
He also spoke about his ambitions:
"I hope to stay healthy and be able to showcase what I can do. I see myself playing in one of the ‘big five’ leagues and, of course, in the Bosnia and Herzegovina "A" team. My goal and dream is to be the captain of the "A" team."
Muharemović highlights his family as very important for his development and career:
"My parents helped me the most, especially my father, who accompanies me to every match. He prepared me when I was younger and always told me I needed to work harder than others. Even today, he gives me advice that helps a lot."
In June this year, Tarik was called up to the "A" team, where he had the chance to meet his football idols:
"My role models are Emir Spahić and Edin Džeko, and every time I think about finally meeting them, and even training with Edin, it’s truly an indescribable feeling," concludes Muharemović.
