The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina successfully concluded a five-day football camp for the junior and cadet teams, bringing together the most promising young talents from across the country. Through dynamic training sessions, educational lectures, and joint activities, the players showed high motivation, dedication to work, and a desire for further development.
Under-19 head coach Dubravko Orlović shared positive impressions from Međugorje: "This is our final gathering before the qualifying tournament in Greece. Since we didn't have any scheduled official matches, we used this period to invite all potential candidates for the qualifiers and play two practice matches against Posušje and Gošk Gabela's senior teams. We had players who have recently played for our under-21 team, and they will certainly bring additional quality and competition. All the guys worked hard and professionally, and based on these two matches and everything shown over the past five days, we will select the best lineup for Greece."
Under-17 head coach Muhamed Džakmić emphasized the importance of this camp: "As planned, we successfully completed three training sessions and played two matches. The vast majority of players responded to the call, and everything went according to plan. We have gained three new players we can count on in the future. Still, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to play official matches against other teams to better assess our current level. We still don't have a clear picture of our capabilities."
During the camp, the young footballers, besides honing their skills, learned about the importance of unity, discipline, and a professional approach to the game. These days were both a challenge and an opportunity to prove they have the potential to one day become the pride of our football.
FFBiH would like to thank all participants and coaches for their effort and dedication, with a message to the young players: Believe in yourselves and keep working with the same passion and commitment!
