Head coach Slaven Musa commented on the preparations for the tournament:
“We had excellent working conditions in Međugorje, but we did not have all the players at our disposal, which was a problem for us during the preparation period. Now we have all the invited players together and everyone is ready. We will have another training session tomorrow and the first tournament match with North Macedonia is a day after tomorrow. Our goal is to qualify for the elite qualifying round. I hope that we will be good in the first match, compact and focused and that we will start qualifications with a victory.”
The North Macedonia vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina match is scheduled for 13th November at 13:00 h at the FFM Training Centre in Skopje.
In addition to our team and the tournament host, the group also includes junior teams of England and Luxembourg.
