The list of the head coach Slobodan Starčević includes younger players who be eligible to play in the next qualification cycle for the European Championship.
“As we said in the announcement, this is a talented generation of players. Unfortunately, Čuić and Krdžalić are injured and we cannot count on them, as well as on Muharemović and Sučić, who have obligations in their clubs. There is no Ćetković who was transferred to the “A” national team. The guys who are here in trainings have shown a great deal of seriousness, discipline and quality. Now the focus is on the players who made a good result with the U-19 national team and were close to qualifying for the EURO, as well as the players from the Premier League who are already standard in their teams”, said the head coach Starčević.
The first match of the U-21 national teams of Northern Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for tomorrow at 17:00 h at the Petar Miloševski Training Centre in Skopje.
The second match will be played at the same place on 12th June, also at 17:00 h.
