The new head coach of the young national team and his associates Mario Ivanković, Haris Alihodžić and Zoran Sofrenić met with the general secretary Adnan Džemidžić as well as the executive director of the sports sector Elmir Pilav during their visit to the Federation today.
After meeting the members of the FF BH administration, Starčević told for the Federation’s official website:
“First of all, I would like to thank the FF BH for appointing me to this very responsible function. I am aware of the importance of the U-21 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I will do my best, together with my technical staff, which is well placed in a professional and character sense, to maximally respond to the obligations ahead of us. First of all, we need to prepare the team for the match with Belgium. In the long term, the task of the young national team is to adequately prepare for what the national team players will meet in the “A” national team.”
The U-21 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play its first match, led by a new technical staff, on 31st March, with the team of Belgium within the qualifications for EURO 2021.
