The 11th “Josip Katalinski-Škija” Memorial began with matches in Zenica and Doboj-Kakanj

The 1st round-matches of the group stage of the 11th International Memorial U-15 Tournament “Josip Katalinski-Škija” were played today.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina beat the pioneers of Čelik with a score of 5:1 at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica.

The BH team played an excellent action in the 5th minute, when Matej Deket from the left side sent the ball into the middle for Amer Tiro who hit the net from about 12 meters for 1:0. Deket made it 2:0 in the 25th minute from the penalty spot after a foul on Aleksa Šehovac in the penalty area.

In the 28th minute, the Zenica players reduces their lead when, after a cross from the right side by Amar Menzilović, Ferid Stabančić scored a goal with a header from the five-meter area.

Čedomir Ćulum’s team scored the third goal in the 34th minute. Deket, from over 30 meters, perfectly sent the ball through the middle for Vedad Husović, who was accurate for 3:1.

After Mahir Fejzić’s free kick from the right side in the 48th minute, Aldian Korora did the best in the Čelik penalty area and scored the fourth goal for the BH pioneers. In the 66th minute, Davud Aljić made an excellent pass on the left side and sent the ball into the middle for Korora, who scored his second goal of the match and gave advantage to the BH team of 5:1.

The following played for Bosnia and Herzegovina: Savo Radanović (36th, Rajhan Repuh), Veljko Savanović (36th, Andrej Ćorić), Miljan Kecman (57th, Zlatko Ivanković), Amil Muminović (36th, Amar Softić), Vedad Husović (36th, Davud Aljić), Matej Deket (36th, Galib Salan), Eldar Godinjak (36th, Mak Pita), Andrija Pejaković (36th, Mak Košpo), Amer Tiro (36th, Mahir Fejzić), Aleksa Šehovac (36th, Aldian Korora), Darijo Blagojević (36th, Vasilije Vujinović).

In the group B match played at the FK Mladost Stadium in Doboj near Kakanj, the team of the City of Belgrade and Montenegro played tie 2:2. The penalty shoot-out was started, where the Belgrade players managed better, winning 4:1, so they won two points and Montenegro one.

The second-round matches are scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 h. The Bosnia and Herzegovina-Albania match will be played at the BH FF Training Centre, and Montenegro and the joint team of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo will play in Doboj-Kakanj.
