A talented defender is proud that he is part of the U-17 team:

“It’s a great thing to get an invitation to the national team at all. All these years of hard efforts and works have been paid off and the prize is to be a part of the national team, and when you also participate in a big competition, it’s something really special. We came here to confront everyone as better we could. We were successful in the first match and I hope that we will continue this way. It will be difficult, but it must be like that, because only the best can be a part of the European Championship.”

Rankić also commented yesterday’s triumph over Denmark:

“It was not easy, especially in the first half, when we allowed the opponent to impose his rhythm. At the break, we made some decisions, to move harder in the continuation. We went to the pitch more decisive and with a desire to win and open the door to the quarterfinals. We were able to skip the first obstacle, but there is still a lot of work ahead of us. We must keep the seriousness in the continuation of the EURO.”

Stefan appreciates the team with which the BH team will play in two days:

“Belgium is probably the best team in our group. They certainly have a great motive like us. Nobody came to the European Championship for a vacation. It will be harder than against Denmark, but we will be even more prepared. We do not need to doubt in our quality and we will try to oppose Belgium in the right way.”
