Head coach Čedomir Ćulum commented on the double match with the Czech Republic:
“The players gave their best in these two matches. We played the first match without goals, although we created several good chances. The Czech Republic is also an excellent team, which plays fast and dynamically. Today we were defeated by a goal towards the end of the game. We are sorry, because we had three great chances, while the opponent did not threaten until the very end when there was a drop in concentration in our ranks. When we sum it all up, we can be satisfied with these checks, but it is evident that we have to supplement the team, in order to be able to respond more adequately against such quality teams.”
In the first match played two days ago in Drnovice, there were no goals.
