The head coach Igor Janković points out that the team has a difficult task:
“Unfortunately, in the previous matches we did not achieve the points balance we wanted. However, when we look at the game of our team, then we can say that we were not lucky. However, compared to others in the group, our team is much younger. We try to be as high quality as possible. Now we face a difficult opponent who is a contender for winning the European Championship. We have to prepare as well as possible and give more than the maximum in order to achieve the best possible result.”
Janković expects support from the stands:
“I also invite the fans to come to the “Grbavica” and support us. These guys deserve it. We will do our best to repay them with a dedicated game, a fight, and I hope we will achieve a positive result.”
National team player Madžid Šošić said:
“We are preparing in a great atmosphere. In the previous matches, despite the good game, we did not achieve favourable results. We hope to be more successful against a tough opponent. We can’t wait to enter the pitch, because we don’t need a bigger motivation than playing with such a high-quality team like France. I hope we will reach a favourable result. This team has quality and can make good things.”
The match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and France is scheduled for 13th October at 18:30 h at the Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo.
