U-21 national team players gathered

The U-21 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered last night in the Ethnic Village of Stanišići and began preparations for a friendly match with the corresponding team of Bulgaria.

Part of the team worked in the gym this morning, while a training session is planned at the FK Zvijezda 09 Stadium at 15:30 h.

Of the players invited, the head coach Igor Janković will not be able to count on the injured Petar Sučić for this national team’s action.

“Compared to the original list, due to a wrist injury, Sučić will not be with us, while instead we sent an invitation to Luka Božičković from NK Maribor. The players, who finished the championship earlier, worked in the gym this morning, and today they will do another training session. The national team players, who played for their clubs at the weekend, will do recovery training. The boys are healthy and ready, so I expect us to play a quality match in Bulgaria. I hope that, after the victory against Slovenia in the previous friendly match, we will continue with positive results”, said Janković.

Tomorrow morning, the national team will travel to Blagoevgrad, where they will have two more training sessions before the match.

The match between Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for 25th November at 18:00 local time (17:00 CET).
