The goals were scored by Bojan Kovačević in the 57th minute and Vanja Vlahović in stoppage time (90+1').
After the match, head coach Vinko Marinović reflected on the performance: "It was a great test against a strong opponent. We played well in the first half, and we had two clear chances. However we conceded from a set piece in the second half, created more opportunities afterward, but the late goal in stoppage time left a bitter taste. We’ve seen what we need to improve upon, which is exactly the purpose of these friendly matches. I'm satisfied with the players’ effort, but not with the result, as we didn’t deserve to lose, especially not 2:0."
Our U-21 team is set to play another friendly match during this training camp, facing Montenegro on March 25 at 15:00 at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica.
