The young national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina trained today at the “Grbavica” and tomorrow they will play a qualifying match with Luxembourg on the same pitch.

The head coach Slobodan Starčević points out that the team is ready:

“It was a bit unknown to us with which forces the opponent would come, but now we have a clearer picture of them and we have made a game plan. We worked well on this gathering and we are ready to welcome the match. With all due respect to the opponents and their qualities, we need to justify the role of favourites through our game. I’m glad that all the players are healthy and in full training, so everyone is available for the match.”

After a long time from recovery, Ajdin Hasić has recovered and is looking forward to the next national team match:

“We expect three points from tomorrow’s match. We played a good match in Luxembourg and showed that we were a better team. The head coach prepared the team well, we worked hard and I believe that tomorrow we will show that we are much better. After that, a more demanding opponent awaits us, the national team of Italy. However, we are focused on Luxembourg, we can’t wait for the match and I believe we will do our best.”

Adrian Leon Barišić also commented on the opponent:

“We will have a match with Luxembourg, which is an organized team. We have already met with them on their pitch and we cannot say that they tortured us, but they were quite compact and aggressive. They are a team that can cause problems and that is why we have to enter this match without underestimating. We are going for three points and after that we will focus on the match with Italy.”

The match Bosnia and Herzegovina-Luxembourg is on the program tomorrow at 15:00 at the “Grbavica” Stadium in Sarajevo. The east stand will be open to visitors, and admission is free.
