The head coach Vinko Marinović says that several players have complained of injuries:
“All of us will be together tonight. There are some injured players, so we will see with our medical staff whether we could count on them. I expect that, before the first training session today, we will have a clear picture of our situation and availabilities.”
Marinović is familiar with the qualities of Switzerland:
“The Swiss will come with a squad which played their last friendly match against France, but with two players, Ajeti and Sow, joining the first team. We do not have much time and we will also have to take care about our refreshment during these three days. I believe we will be ready for the match.”
Vinko Marinović expects a support of spectators in Zenica:
“We’re in a competition to qualify to the European Championship, but there is a lot more work ahead of us and it will not be easy. We will play two upcoming matches with Switzerland and Romania that have already beaten us in these qualifications. It’s important that we are in a competition and I hope that the spectators will support us in the Zenica match, and that the players will give their utmost. We have to play tactically disciplined and I hope that we will get good results.”
The U-21 team player, Kerim Memija, is optimistic ahead of matches with Switzerland and Romania:
“Communion and good atmosphere in the team brought good results in these qualifications. We showed that we could deal with all U-21 teams. Now, two important matches are ahead of us and if we play as before, we can hope for a favourable result. We played well in Switzerland and we should get points, but we did not succeed at that time. I hope that now, with a support of the audience, we will take a revanche.”
The BH-Switzerland match is scheduled for 7th September at 17:00 h at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica, while on 11th October, the selected players of Vinko Marinović will play an away match with Romania in Ovidiu.
