The WU-13 leagues are supported through UEFA WLDP (Women's League Development Program) and the WU-15 leagues through FIFA WDP (Women's Development Program).
On this occasion, FFBiH senior associate for women's football, Ivana Vlaić, said: "After very successful seasons in which we organized the WU-13 league, giving girls the opportunity to develop and following excellent feedback from clubs, especially young players, and thanks to UEFA/FIFA development programs, we're introducing a new youth competition this season.
I'm pleased to say that every day we have more girls joining football clubs, and the start of the WU-15 league is an opportunity for them to compete on a regular basis and for clubs to develop and expand their talent pool. Our goal through these competitions is to increase the number of registered players, clubs, and to continuously develop women's football."
