Addressing the media were head coach Selver Hodžić and players Melisa Hasanbegović and Sofija Krajšumović.

Coach Hodžić reflected on the previous game against Poland and looked ahead: “We played a really solid first half in Gdańsk. Tactically and physically, we were convincing. Those two early goals in the second half threw us off a bit, but credit to the girls who kept fighting for another 40 minutes and gave their best. We had to analyze that loss and saw we made quite a few mistakes we’ll try to fix for tomorrow. I believe these players will give their all, and it’s important that we raise the team to a higher level. Hopefully, the fans will give us that extra push, and we’ll deliver a strong performance.”

Melisa Hasanbegović said: “The atmosphere’s been great from the start; there’s a really good vibe within the team. I’m disappointed about the match in Poland because we played a strong first half. It was physically demanding, but we fought hard and gave it our best. Then we conceded twice quickly in the second half, and it all went downhill. We were missing a few key players, and it’s never easy without them. Still, the girls who stepped up proved themselves, and now we’ve got new options we can count on. As for tomorrow, you can definitely expect fight and commitment from us. I hope the fans show up and give us the uplift.”

Sofija Krajšumović, who scored a goal in Gdańsk, said: “Despite the result in Poland, the team spirit is still really high. We’re hoping for a better outcome tomorrow. Scoring against a team like that was a huge honor, but I couldn’t have done it without the team - my teammates deserve credit too.”

The BiH vs. Poland match kicks off tomorrow at 15:30 at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica. Admission is free.
