Goals were scored by Florentina Olar in first-half stoppage time and Cristina Carp in the 60’.
After the game, head coach Selver Hodžić said: "Romania deserved the win, and we have to congratulate them. They didn’t exactly outplay us, but they showed more determination and will. We should have taken more responsibility, and we weren’t at our level. We’ll need to properly analyze why that happened and correct some mistakes before the next match. There were good moments, but just as we were playing well, we conceded. This time, things went their way. We need to lift the team up, recover, and prepare for the very important match against Northern Ireland."
Our team's next match will be against Northern Ireland on June 3 at 19:00 at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica.
