Addressing the media were head coach Selver Hodžić and captain Milena Nikolić.
Hodžić reflected on the preparations: "We’re pleased with the team's work and approach during this camp. We've had a peaceful time here at the Training Center, allowing us to accomplish everything we planned. All players are ready, and we're happy to have captain Milena Nikolić available again after her injury issues. We all know how important she is to this team."
Commenting on the opponent, he added: "Romania plays with a lot of aggression and is good in transitions as well. We had a solid session yesterday and worked on some solutions to counter their style of play. There are a few more things to fine-tune today, but I’m confident we’ll look good on the pitch. We know how we want to approach the game, we have our own style, and we want to take it to another level - be more attacking and show the fans our team spirit. I believe we’ll get a positive result."
Nikolić shared her thoughts: "The atmosphere is great; the core of the team has been together for a long time, and after every camp we want to grow as a team and show both on and off the pitch that we care for each other. We haven’t faced Romania in a while. Both teams have undergone generational changes. The coaching staff has done an excellent job with the analysis, and we’re aware of their strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully, we can take advantage of that and start the competition on a high note."
The Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Romania match is scheduled for tomorrow at 13:00 at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica.
