The head coach Samira Hurem says about the start of the preparations:
“We gathered a little bit earlier this time, but all the Premier Women’s League matches were played on Saturday, so all the domestic players arrived for gathering. National team players from abroad, Milena Nikolić, Dijana Haračić, Ena Taslidža and Nikolina Milović should join us today.”
Hurem expects successful start of qualifications:
“It’s good that we play our first matches at home with teams against which, I believe, we are favourites. For the sake of confidence, it would be great to start with positive results. Anything but winning the first match would be a failure for us and those three points at the start of qualifications would surely motivate us to continue. Another opponent is Malta, which has made a step forward in women’s football and they have an experienced team. We want to get all 6 points at the start and we will see if we can make it.”
The Elected players of Samira Hurem did one training session yesterday, and until the match with Georgia, they will do six more.
The BH-Georgia match will be played at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica on 30.08.2019 at 17:00 h, and BH-Malta at the Asim Ferhatović-Hase Stadium in Sarajevo on 3rd September at 17:00 h.
