Due to health problems with the team, the head coach Samira Hurem will not travel, and the team will be led from the bench by her assistant Ivan Kvesić.
“These preparatory matches that we will play in Antalya will mean a lot to us, because we will have the opportunity to try out some new players, to see to whom will we be able to count on in the qualifications. Almir Seferović, the fitness coach of the men’s “A” national team, is also with us, and his work will be of great importance for the preparation of our national team players”, says Kvesić and adds:
“Quality matches await us. Serbia is preparing for the qualifying match with Turkey and that will be a strong test for us. As far as Russia is concerned, regardless of the fact that they are playing with the “B” team, there will certainly be players they will count on in the qualifications, where they are with us in the group. In this regard, this match will be important for us, to get acquainted with their way of playing.”
The match with Serbia is scheduled for 17th February at 15:00 h, and with Russia on 22nd February at 17:00 h.
