The new name in the technical staff of the head coach Samira Hurem is assistant coach Zoran Dimitrić, who worked in women’s national teams before.
“First of all, I am honoured, but it is also a great obligation to be part of the “A” national team. The first impressions are that there is a very positive energy in the team. Everything is at a high level and the atmosphere is such that it radiates optimism”, says Dimitrić and continues:
“Considering that most of the players at this gathering are from the domestic competition, these matches will help us see what we are up to and what our league can offer us. This will be a great opportunity for players who have not had many playing minutes so far to show how much we can count on them in the future.”
One of the more experienced players, Melisa Hasanbegović, says about this gathering:
“After successful qualifications, now is the time to take new steps forward. I hope that we will use these friendly matches in the best way. The head coach invited a lot of new players and we will see how much they can help us in the coming period. The atmosphere in the team is, as always, at a high level and I am sure it will stay that way.”
