New Face In Women's National "A" Team

Selma Pajazetović, a member of the Austrian club Dornbin Ladies, got her first call-up to represent the Bosnia and Herzegovina women's national "A" team.

This attacker expressed her pleasure for joining the "Dragonesses": "I'm thrilled to have received the call-up to the national team and the opportunity to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's a reward for all the hard work, and I'll give my best on the field to justify the coach's confidence and remain part of this team in the future."

Selma was born in Austria, and right after her birth, her family returned to their hometown of Velika Kladuša. She grew up there until the age of thirteen when they moved back to Austria, where she lived with her mother and sister. However, fate brought her the love of her life, which led her to make the decision to tie the knot and move to Switzerland with her husband a year ago.

Pajazetović talks about the challenges of balancing her roles as a wife and professional football player: "My partner provides immense support, not just in football but also in my other job alongside all my sports commitments. Over the past year, I've managed to balance my responsibilities well, and my husband often enjoys training with me. He's my big motivation in everything I do, and he's pleased that I've been called up to the national team."
