She-Dragons are motivated and ready to give their best against the Czech Republic

The official press conference of the women’s “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held today in the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica, ahead of the match with the Czech Republic.

The media representatives were addressed by head coach Samira Hurem and players Milena Nikolić and Marija Aleksić.

Hurem commented on the next opponent:

“The Czech Republic is a very serious national team and they built their national team according to the German system. From the youth teams, they make a team and their players have been playing together for a long time and know each other well, and this can be felt in their game. They perform for big clubs, they are characterized by good organization of the game and they do not deviate from their plan and system, no wonder they are in first place.”

The head coach also added:

“We used the preparation period in the right way, with a lot of training and a detailed analysis of the opponent. Tomorrow, we expect a very demanding match, but the team has a very good atmosphere since the last matches. We were well organized in the previous matches and if we repeat that, we can expect a good result.”

Samira Hurem commented on the playing staff available for tomorrow’s match:

“Because of the cards, we will not be able to count on Gloria Slišković and Ena Šabanagić, however, we have players who can play at a high level in their positions. Zerina Piskić had problems with a virosis, but she is in the training process and will be ready for the match. Goalkeeper Nikolina Todorić was injured, so instead we invited Amila Delić from Sloboda, who is being invited to the national team for the first time. The other players are healthy and ready.”

Captain Milena Nikolić said:

“If we repeat the game from the past matches, in which we showed that we can be dangerous going forward, then we can expect a good result. Against Slovenia, we created a lot of chances and the realization is what we have to improve. I hope that we will be more efficient against the Czech Republic.”

Marija Aleksić, who can cover several positions on the pitch, says:

“It’s easier to play back, but it’s nicer in the midfield”, says Aleksić with a smile and continues, "If necessary, I can play in other positions, nothing is difficult for me for this crest. A tough opponent awaits us tomorrow, but we are focused on us and our game. We are motivated, we will do our best and I believe that everyone will enjoy our match tomorrow.”
