Our national team will play in Group B4 together with the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Belarus.
The national teams are divided into three leagues based on their ranking on the UEFA list. The champions of the groups in League B will achieve direct qualification for League A, the runners-up will play a play-off with the third-placed national teams from League A and the winner will play in League A in the next edition of the UEFA Nations League. The three best third-placed national teams from League B will play play-offs for survival in League B with the three best runners-up from League C, while the weakest third-placed and all fourth-placed national teams will move to a lower level of the competition.
In the other groups of the first edition of the UEFA Women’s Nations League, the following will play:
A1: England, Netherlands, Belgium, Scotland
A2: France, Norway, Austria, Portugal
A3: Germany, Denmark, Iceland, Wales
A4: Sweden, Spain, Italy, Switzerland
B1: Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Hungary, Albania
B2: Finland, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia
B3: Poland, Serbia, Ukraine, Greece
C1: Malta, Moldova, Latvia, Andorra
C2: Turkey, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Georgia
C3: Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Cyprus, Faroe Islands
C4: Israel, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Armenia
C5: North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bulgaria
The first and second rounds are played from 20th to 26th September, the third and fourth from 25th to 31st October, and the fifth and sixth from 29th November to 5th December. The semi-finals and final will be played from 21st to 28th February 2024, as well as the play-off matches.
