Bosnia and Herzegovina-France 0:1

The “A” national team players gathered in Zenica

The women’s senior national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered yesterday at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica and began preparations for friendly matches with Albania and Hungary.

Head coach Samira Hurem says about this national team action:

“We have two test matches ahead of us with Albania and Hungary, and that will be a very high-quality test for us. We invited 25 players, and except for Melisa Hasanbegović and Minela Gačanica, they all perform in our country. The goal of this gathering is to check all the young players, in order to better select the “A” team for new qualifications. It is important to us that the players, who played less in the last cycle, get playing minutes and show their quality. We will not ignore the result, because we always want to win, but the most important thing at this moment is to check all the players.”

Before today’s training session, national team player Dajana Spasojević said:

“After a long time, we are together again and most of the players are from our championship. Good checks against quality teams await us. This will be a great opportunity for younger players to show what they know, but also for us, who are more experienced, to additionally play before the obligations that follow.”

The match with Albania is scheduled for 9th April at 16:00 h in the Zenica’s Training Camp, and with Hungary for 13th April in Telki.
