The BH women’s “A” national team players travel to Georgia tomorrow

The women’s senior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will train today in Zenica as part of the preparations for the match with Georgia, while tomorrow they will leave for Tbilisi.

National team player Đula Velagić believes that the next opponent should not be taken lightly:

“The atmosphere in the team is great. All the players are healthy and ready for the match that awaits us in Georgia. We beat them in the previous match, but we certainly should not underestimate their team in this match as well. We currently have 15 points which is a great success for our national team. We will do our best to win another 3 points and finish the qualifications with a victory.”

B&H and Georgia have met only once so far, at the beginning of these qualifications at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica. The BH team then achieved a convincing 7:1 victory. Milena Nikolić scored two goals in that match, whom the head coach Samira Hurem will not have at her disposal this time. In addition to the captain, Dajana Spasojević, Melisa Hasanbegović, Aida Hadžić, Marija Aleksić and Sofija Krajšumović also scored. The only goal for Georgia was scored by Ana Cheminava.
