SFK 2000 Sarajevo Wins the BiH Women's Cup

The Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Cup final for the 2024/25 season took place today at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica. SFK 2000 Sarajevo secured yet another trophy, defeating Mostar’s Emina with a score of 1:0.

The maroon team took the lead in the 37': Amela Kršo made a great run down the left side and crossed the ball into the box, where Lili Baidoe rose highest and headed it into the net, giving her team the advantage. Despite both sides having several opportunities until the final whistle, the score remained unchanged.

SFK 2000 Sarajevo coach Samira Hurem said after today's win: “I’m thrilled with another trophy and proud of all the girls who showed character, fighting spirit and quality today. We knew it would be a tough match against Emina, who fully deserved to be in the final, but our experience and unity made the difference. This team keeps proving year after year that it has a winning mentality and an exceptional work ethic. I'd like to thank the coaching staff, club management, our fans, and everyone who stands behind this success. This trophy is yet another confirmation that we’re on the right path and motivates us to keep pushing forward.”

The trophy ceremony followed after the final whistle; Cups and medals were awarded to the players by FFBiH General Secretary Adnan Džemidžić and Competitions Committee member Vladimir Glavaš.
