In the derby of the round, Emina will host SFK 2000 Sarajevo on the auxiliary pitch of the Rođeni stadium in Mostar. The clash between the top two teams on the table is scheduled for Sunday, November 9 at 12:30.
Emina head coach Zijo Tojaga says ahead of the match: "We expect the game against SFK 2000 Sarajevo to deliver top-level football and a true Premier Women’s League derby. We’re definitely facing a quality opponent, but we’ll give our best, leave our hearts on the pitch, and show what we’re worth. We hope for a positive result as a reward for our effort and work. I invite all our fans and football lovers to come and enjoy what I believe will be the best match of the Premier Women’s League!"
Emina player Elma Husić said: "On Wednesday we showed real character and quality against SFK 2000. We played bravely, fought hard, and brought great energy. That match gave us extra motivation and belief in what we’re doing. Sunday brings another duel and we’re going to prove our good performance wasn’t a fluke. I invite all women’s football fans to support us on Sunday."
SFK 2000 Sarajevo head coach Valentin Plavčić: "Matches against Emina always have a special edge because these are the two teams that have been at the top of women’s football in Bosnia and Herzegovina in recent seasons. Emina showed in the last game against us that they’re a team on the rise. We expect a demanding game, but I believe in our team’s quality and character. The girls are motivated and ready to give their best. Our goal is clear - to impose our style, be aggressive, and achieve a win to stay on top of the table."
SFK 2000 Sarajevo player Amela Kršo: "The derby with Emina is always a special challenge. We know each other well, we know it’ll be a tough match, but also a chance to show what we’re worth. In the previous match on Wednesday, they took a point from us on our field. We’re a team that always wants to win and that result didn’t work for us. Now we’re going away and want to make up for it, and I believe this time the three points will be ours."
