Ilija Lucić’s team had a field initiative in the first half, but apart from a few attempts from distance, they did not create a bigger opportunity until the 38th minute, when Tasneem Dizdarević tried from ten meters, and the Moldovan defensive players turned the ball into a corner. After the corner kick, Dragana Dimitrić was the highest in the jump, but she shot next to the goal.
In the 40th minute, the BH team came to an advantage. Dizdarević shot well from the edge of the penalty area and hit the net for 1:0.
A similar game was seen in the continuation, and our national team doubled the advantage in the 64th minute, when Šejla Dedić shot accurately from a distance.
The defensive players of Moldova, in the 69th minute, clumsily intervened in their penalty area, which was used by Janica Filipović who sent the ball into the net.
In the 77th minute, Dalal Bratović sent the ball to the right for Dizdarević who crossed on a five-meter area for Filipović who scored her second goal in the match.
The final result was set by Šejla Dedić with an excellent free kick from twenty meters from the left.
At the end of the match, the head coach Ilija Lucić stated:
“We can be satisfied with what the players showed today. We were better the whole match and we deservedly won. Now we have to prepare as well as possible for the EURO, which we will host. We missed a few standard players in this tournament and I hope that we will be more complete in the big competition.”
The BH national team finished the qualifications in second place in the group with 3 points, behind Belgium, which won 6, and ahead of Moldova, which is without points.
The BH team will participate in the European Championship which will be held in our country in May this year.
