Head coach Lucić said after the match:
“We had a bad start in the match, but later it was better. The girls showed character and I congratulate them for a good game, as well as the host, who was very fair. We have another match with the same opponent and considering that these are our last checks before the qualifications, we will give playing minutes to all players to see what we have at our disposal. Of course, we will not ignore the result either. Our goal is to easily enter the qualifications where our goal is to stay in League A, which is very demanding, i.e., to be in that circle with the other 20 best European national teams.”
The second match of these national teams is scheduled for 24th September at 10:00 h CET (11:00 h local time).
